I have created the number of days between an accident for a group level.
I now need to be able to calculate the number of days between accidents from each site.
Column A has the dates,
Colum B has the sites. (In the attachment the sites are A,B & C)
Can anybody help out, Please? Many thanks.
What Excel product are you using. 11 sounds like it's your Operating System (Windows 11). Is it O365, Excel 2021, 2019... or what?

Thank you very much yes its Office 365 but as for the Excel revision, no information I can find gives me the revision.
I also up loaded a version I was playing with and not the right one, Sorry, the joys of being disturbed when up loading. I have placed a much simpler version "Count of days between accidents by group & sites"

1. please amend your profile to show O365.
2. Try:
=B2-LOOKUP(2,1/(B4:B50="A"),A4:A50)
similar for B & C.
