    Change the date format

    Hi,

    I am trying to change the date format from Feb 26, 2024, to 26/02/2024. Even though I go to the Format cells—Date option and select the 26/02/2024 format, the Excel file does not change all the below dates.

    Feb 26, 2024
    Feb 23, 2024
    Feb 22, 2024

    Thanks,

    Re: Change the date format

    Because that is text, not a date. Should translate it to real date
    For example:
    A1="Feb 26, 2024"
    B1

    Then format B1 as "dd/mm/yyyy"
    Copy B1 paste value back to A1, if needed.

    Re: Change the date format

    Why would anyone need the BETA version for that formula? TEXTSPLIT appeared in 365 back in 2022. The other functions were in Excel 2021 (SORTBY) and earlier (CONCAT). There's nothing there that isn't already on general release.

    You might want to boookmark this site, which is more accurate than Microsoft's own support pages: https://bettersolutions.com/excel/fu...-functions.htm
