List names that appear on both sheets

If I have two sheets with lists of names and want to create a third sheet with a list of duplicate names on the first two sheets. Is there a way to do it?

Re: What formula can I use for that?

    Administrative Note:

    Welcome to the forum.

    1) Please update your profile to give the correct version of Excel. There no 360, maybe you mean 365.

    2) We would very much like to help you with your query, however the thread title does not really convey what your request is about. Tell us what you are trying to do, not how you think it should be done.

Please take a moment to consider amending your thread title. Make sure that the title properly explains your request. Your title should be explicit and not be generic (this includes function names used without an indication of what you are trying to achieve).

Please see Forum Guideline #1 about proper thread titles.

I have updated your title because you're still new.

There's almost always a way. Do you mean you want a list of the names that appear on both sheets? Or are duplicated, no matter where the duplicates appear?

In the simplest possible scenario where names are in column A of each of the first two sheets, and you want Column A of the third sheet to list names that appear on both of the other sheets:

    Formula: copy to clipboard

Where 'Dupe 1' and 'Dupe 2' are the names of the first two sheets.

If this does not solve your problem, please provide a file with sample data and show your desired result.
