I'm trying to format other cells based on criteria of another cell. I just cannot seem to get it working. So what I want to happen, when B3 says yes, B4-6 cell changes colour to green.
Any help would be appreciated.

Excel looks at Yes and thinks it is a name, but no such name exists, so it returns an error. Errors in CF formulas are silent.
You just need to put quotes around it.
