Count Instances or Frequency multiple sheets - Counting position appearances in baseball

I help coach youth baseball and young kids.

In our rec league, I try my best to ensure that kids play 2-3 positions a game, split between the infield and outfield. I have a nice, refined sheet I made to create a lineup card for each game. I'm very happy with that.

Attached is a workbook that has that template and 8 game worksheets. I have one worksheet that I want to summarize or count the number of instances a kid has played a given position across the season. I tried getting help on this once here and got something that was close and I think I messed up. I'm hoping someone can help me out a bit.

My main goal is to have something I can quickly look at and see little Jimmy or whoever has not played position X or another kid has played a disproportionate amount at one position or another.

I likely would add additional sheets, so any help to make sure that if I duplicate a sheet, it doesn't cause too many errors would be very appreciated.

Actually, I believe it is finding something that is not right in that search.

For some reason, regardless of anything, every position filled seems to get filled as that position on the summary AND as an inning-playing C. I put in the kids' names, and I have one kid playing 3 innings at 1B and RCF. Both populate right, but in addition to that, he shows himself with 6 innings at C. I'm not sure if I did something wrong or not. Unfortunately, what you put in there is a bit above my current skill level in Excel.
