I use Quick Books Online almost every day. It's tedious to work in. I think today's programmers believe that all users operate in a point and click mode and don't know how to use their keyboard! Thank GOD!! they increased the ability to export seamlessly into EXCEL to work on things.
Anyway... whenever I export the results or report or list, it opens EXCEL in a window of its own instance. I know this because when I try to move the sheet to an existing workbook, it doesn't see all the other numerous workbooks I have open. It's a PITA because most of the time the downloaded data is a temp scratch book and to get the data to another working book, I have to save the file, then reopen it to get it into the same instance with the other working books. Then remember to go delete that file!
Any idea why this might be happening? Any idea how to force it not to do this? Does it have something to do with my browser settings? Well maybe not. I don't think I see it happening with excel files downloaded from financial institutions.
