Drop down list within body of text

    Good afternoon all,

I hope this find you well, im not sure if this is even possible but i wanted to ask the question.

In Excel is there a way to add a drop down box in a body of text?

    So for example

"Your Policy has an excess of (Dropdown with options) which applies per annum, if any claim spans the renewal of your policy or you make a new claim your excess will apply again"

Im a bit stuck on how to put this into a test sheet to upload but any help would be truly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

Although not relevant in this case, a knowledge of roughly (national level) can be very important in providing a solution. Some formulae need tweaking for specific locations. Kindly amend your profile to remove your rather aggressive description and replace it with an approximate location. Country level will be fine.

    Glenn,

Sorry you found it "aggressive" how you have come to that conclusion is baffling and bewildering, my location has no bearing on the asking of a question, nor receiving a reply to the asking of a question, as such i kindly ask you to either provide help and an answer to the question or move on, but i will not be changing nor sharing my location in the world and will keep this private and i ask you as a moderator to mind your business on trivial issues that have zero bearing on the issue at hand, the only things that are needed in this case is the version of Excel i am using and that is clearly in my profile. I bid you adieu.
