    Copy row to new tab

    Hello,

Attached is a workbook that contains multiple tabs. There is an Inquiry, Win, and Loss tabs. I am looking for a way that once I know whether a project has been won or lost on the Inquiry tab, I can simply click on perhaps a button (rows H and I) and that project row is moved to either the "Win" or "Loss" tab and is removed from it's entirety from the Inquiry tab.

For Example: Let's say I win the Johnson project (Row 4). I would like to be able to click on cell H4, which would lead to that row being removed from the "Inquiry" tab and placed in the "Win" tab.

    Hi Adam,

The attached file is a macro-enabled file that if you double-click in the Win or Loss column, it will move that row to the appropriate sheet.

I don't know how familiar you are with VBA in excel, but to see the macro, hit "ALT-F11" and then click on "Sheet1(Inquiry)", which will probably be listed in the upper left corner and it will show the event driven program.

    Hope that helps,

    Dan

Re: Copy row to new tab

    Dan,

You're file provided was epic! Thanks so much for the help. I do have one quick little clean up question though. I moved some columns around and have everything pretty much set and your sheet works perfectly. However, is it possible that when you activate the double-click that the row being pasted has a thin border around every cell? When I do it now it doesn't set the bottom row for either the win or loss tab. Also, is it possible that when you activate the "win" feature that the rest of the row up to Column S receives a border? Right now it stops in between L and M.

    Thanks again for the help!!
