Question Feeding Sorted Data to Front Tab

I am trying to create a Task Tracker spreadsheet.

The first tab is a summary for the boss. The successive tabs are all names of the team members. Each team member goes into their tab and fills in the data in four columns (Task, Status, Progress, Issues/Comments).

If the Status column is either OPEN or HOLD I want it to feed the Summary tab. I can't figure out how to pull the data from the later tabs to the front sheet if the Status values are the ones I want.

    Any ideas?

Is VBA the only way to acheive this with Excel? Bueller? Bueller?

    Hi!

    Tell me more.

What does the boss' summary look like? Content:where? What carries over from the other sheets?

I have a workbook with several tabs. The first tab is supposed to be the current workload of the section. Each successive tab is assigned a person's name on the team (call them Employee Tabs).

The Employee Tabs have several columns, each row being assigned to one task. The field of importance is the status column.

What I am trying to figure out is a way to get any row that has an "open" or "hold" status to duplicate itself on the front "summary" sheet for the boss. The "summary" sheet is organized like this:

    Workload Summary

    Employee 1
(Copy of open or hold task 1)
(Copy of open or hold task 2), etc

    Employee 2
(Copy of open or hold task 1)
(Copy of open or hold task 2), etc

    Employee 3...

Does that explanation do? Appreciate the help.
