I have a problem with what excel seems to think is a circular reference, but I don't think it is.

I added a table of formulae to my workbook and now each time I open it I get the following message....

"Microsoft Excel cannot calculate a formula. There is a circular reference in an open workbook, but the references that cause it cannot be listed for you. Try editing the last formula you entered or removing it with the Undo commend (Edit menu)."

I don't think that the formulae I added create a circular reference at all, but if I remove them, save and re-open the book there is no message.

However... if I put them back, there is no message when I put them in, re-calculate etc., only when opening the workbook again.

This has got me stumped... any ideas??
