    Easy Question - Automate date

    Hello I complete alot of access programs but try to find the function in excel to add weeks based on a standard date field

    Therefore :

    A2 = date

    I need to add 8 weeks from cell A2 into a seperate field.

    Any direction in the function would be appreciated.

    I have looked up in the search tools but not able to find something to send me in the right direction.

    Thanks

    Eight weeks = 56 days... add this to your date. format your cell as Date.

    so: =A2+56 will return eight weeks from that date.

    Thanks not exact but it most likely will work. If any one can figure extactly 8 weeks that would be appreciated.

    Help us understand what, to you, is 'exactly' eight weeks.

    e.g. Saturday, Jan 1, 2005 + eight weeks is Saturday, February 26, 2005

    in Excel, 01/01/2005+56 returns: 02/26/2005

    If this doesn't meet your needs, please explain what you are looking for.

    Thank you.
