    Additional columns

    Hello All,
The number of columns in my worksheet stop at IV. I tried inserting more columns but it did not work. Is there a limit to the number of columns you can use? How do I get around this? Thank you for your help.

I use excel97 and Open Office Calc, and both their columns stop at IV. I don't know whether an up to date excel version has more columns - others here may be able to say. You could continue on to another sheet. Use column IV as a row summary / totals column and link to column A on the next sheet and continue across the second sheet. Or put the overflow data beneath the data occupying the current columns A to IV and continue across the first sheet. Or you could use the same sheet, but split the screen: Windows / Split. The top screen could show the top of the sheet, the lower screen show the bottom of the sheet.
