You are quite right. This a worrying state of affairs which has been going on for some time now. Joseph Rubin is aware and says he has people working on it. I see no output as yet from their work.

I've certainly known of an instance where a poster was being given false info. through the MS route but which I couldn't correct from here. (So, naturally, I corrected it "there". That post was echoed here, of course.)
