Hi,
I have written an financial-based application in Excel that I hope to sell. I live in the UK and so all the currency values are in pound-sterling (£) so this is the currency symbol that appears throughout the spreadsheet.
If I sell the application to someone who lives in a different country (say the US) will I need to manually change the currency settings so that Excel displays $ instead of £, or will the spreadsheet automatically change to $? I have been told that Excel will change all currency symbols within a spreadsheet to whatever the Window's Regional Settings are, although I can't confirm this is true.
Does anyone know for sure?
Cheers
-Rob
