    Problem with phone bill

    Hi.

I keep records of my business calls on an excel spreadsheet, number, duration, cost, etc.
Is there an easy way to summarise this so that each individual number is listed along with the number of calls and total cost??

    e.g. 01234567890 42 £16.52

    Any help greatly appreciated

    Cheers
    Darren

I think I'd go with a PivotTable in your case.

    Thanks for the reply.

Although I can sort by number and then sum the columns manually, I have a couple of lists that contain many hundreds of numbers . Does anyone know of a way to do this automatically?

    Thanks

Sorry Darren, you said "easy"... Autofilter is one click easy... but won't meet your needs.

Ron is correct, a pivot table is the best way to obtain your desired result and is not too difficult to perform.

    Good Luck
