    Convert Number into Words

Is there any readymade function or utility in Excel or
Word to write a number into words?

e.g. show 1418 as : One Thousand Four Hundred Eighteen.

For this one, i actually wrote my own series of formulae (mainly because I didnt know the answer was out there already).

Because it's all formulae, it doesnt need any macros (and therefore the need to mess about with Security for enabling them) and also it doesnt rely on any add-ins either, meaning it can be run on any Excel set-up... particularly useful if sharing your workbooks to a large audience over a network, you just hide the columns and lock the sheet.

    If anyone's interested, PM me.
