    Chosing a degenerating number

I have a number which degenerates every hour. My X axis consists of Hour 1, Hour 2 etc etc, up to 12.

I want to be able to type 1 or 2 or 3 into cell A1, and then in the cell below I want it to bring up the relevant hour's result (which is located underneath the relevant hour). So, typing 3 into A1 would bring up Hour 3 etc. An IF statement doesn't work, as the number of possibles is 12, and apparently if statements are limited to 8 or 9 (as I found out to great annoyance).

I don't know how the Concatenate function works, but I believe it may be suitable for this?

I think the INDEX() function is the one you want.

Most problems are caused by starting from the wrong place.
Use a cup of coffee to speed up all Windows processes.
It's easy until you know how.
