    Generating autonumbers


    Hello,
    I have a worksheet that I use for my invoices.
    The invoice number nomenclature is: TPT_1500A
    Each time I print an invoice, I want an invoice number (TPT_1502B) to be
    automatically printed.
    Can/will someone direct me to example/resources to help me???

    J.E. McGimpsey has instructions for creating sequential invoice numbers:

    http://www.mcgimpsey.com/excel/udfs/sequentialnums.html

    You could adapt that to your invoice, using a second cell, with a
    formula, to concatenate the letters.

    I don't know of any other resources for sequential invoice numbers in
    Excel, but you might find some in Google:
