Enter a value..automatically produce a chart..?

Hello,

I'm quite new to excel but can anyone help me out...? hope I explain this OK..

Here goes....

A User inputs a value into a cell every 8 hours....is there any way I can produce these values onto a line chart automatically....???

Say the User enters a figure into a cell...how could I get this figure to show on a line chart automatically..

Hypothetically, the User doesn't know how to set up a chart in Excel..

...so when he has input a value into a cell, is there anyway this value can automatically be shown on a chart, say in the same worksheet and updated when he enters another value...?
