Scanning cells for ""DIV/0!"

Hello. I just can't quite figure this one out.

I am looking to see if I could have one cell tell me if another set of cells contains any errors, anywhere. Any cells I am looking for would come up as ""DIV/0!"

I tired the =IF or =IFERROR but am not sure if I am entering the text correctly.

There is a function called ISERROR and ISERR that may help you....

Not exactly sure how you want to show it, but try =if(iserror(cel-ref)),"this","that")

or just
=iferror((cell-ref,"That")
but this will give you the answer if there is no error

OK. I tried =IsErr and =iserror and no matter what cell area I input it comes up true?

Maybe this can help. The area I want to scan is this --> Matrix!FE759:NC1791 "Matrix!" being the sheet name of course.

When I try all of this functions it seems to always come back true even when there are no errors.

Try this Conditional Formatting:

Select Matrix!FE759:NC1791

Click on Conditional Formatting, New Rule, Use Formula.... and enter this formula in the formula field:

=ISERROR(FE759)

Click on Format and choose the formatting that you would like.

All the cells within the selected range that produce errors should be formatted with your chosen formatting.
