Can I create a button in Excel that generates a task in Outlook?

    Can I create a button in Excel that generates a task in Outlook?

    I have a line of 5 cells with information in them. I want to provide for the
    end user a seemless action of clicking on a button at the end of this line to
    create a task for Outlook and have the information auto inserted into this
    task. Is this possible?

    Doing this would require automating Outlook and using the Outlook object
    model. You're much more likely to find that expertise in an Outlook
    newsgroup. If someone there gives you code to create a task given your 5
    items of information, it would be a pretty simple task to extend that code
    to run from Excel.
