    A home for Delete

    I agree to some extent, but I'm just wondering - if not by 'Rename', then where? I think a proposal would keep it from ending up somewhere else on the menu that would be even less convenient. Just my $.02. Chad

    On the other hand, if you had data on that worksheet, you did get prompted with
    a warning (xl2003 doesn't have the warning if the sheet hasn't been used--maybe
    xl2002 is like that, too???).

    xl2k and below will prompt you even if that worksheet hasn't been used.
