    Hi Oz,

    Your request is not clear.

How does the active range differ from the current selection?

    Clarification

    hi again,
what i mean is that i have a table with some data.
the table size is changing (the data is coming from ODBC).
in adition i have cells with formulas near the table, some of the formula have a resault and some dont .
i want to select automaticly only the range containing data, and not all cells with formula.
if the formula resault = nothing then the cell should be out of the sected range.
all of this in order to print only the range that is relevant and not getting empty papers out of the printer.

    thanks
    oz.
