How do I highlight the current cell?

    How do I highlight the current cell?

    I am working in a Excel spreadsheet that has quite a bit of information
    and everytime I look away at a paper, it takes me a second to find out
    where the cell was I left off at. Is there a setting I am missing that
    will hightlight the current cell I am working in? I don't want to
    actually highlight it and have it stay that way. I need it to move
    with the cursor.

    Not sure how much this will make a difference, but you could try setting the gridlines to a lighter colour. This will give you a little more contrast. Also, excel 2003 seems to have a thicker selection box than the previous version. Obviously, that's not reason enough to upgrade though!

    tools -> options -> gridelines color
