Resizing File>Open box

Does that mean you solved your problem???

I'm kind of confused.

You really maximized the window--I was guessing that you made it very large.

Try file|open
alt-spacebar
select Restore

(If you can see the title bar, you can rightclick on that and see that menu,
too.)

Then resize the way you want.

Or just double click on the title bar of the file|open dialog. (I bet that's
how you maximized that window, too.)
