    Question Lost Date Format

    Hello.

I copied Worksheet 1 to worksheet2 and lost my date formats. The date is now showing as the General format (36821) instead of mm/dd/yy. I tried to change the the cell in the Format option, but that did not work for me.
    Any ideas.

    Thanks

    Re: Lost Date Format

Do you see the date in the formula bar?

If yes, maybe this will work:

    tools|Options|view|uncheck formulas

    There's a shortcut key, too.
ctrl-` (control-backquote, backquote is to the left of the 1/! key on my USA
    keyboard).
