GURUS - Chart disappearing

Morning

1. Excel 2003
2. create chart in worksheet
3. click on cell
4. chart disappears and is now "greyed out"

Any ideas would be much appreciated

Choose Tools>Options
On the View tab, under Objects, select Show All
Click OK
