I would guess that a lot of people have not used MS Works to make reports so
comparing the simplicity would be difficult.
What type of reports?
Have you checked out the capabilities of the Report Manager Add-in?
You don't say what version of Excel you're using so you may have to download
the Report Manager. Newer versions, 2002 and 2003, did not include the RM on
CD.
