    can i use mailmerge to in excel like you would in word?

    is it possible to use mail merge in excel instead of word but have the same
    overall effect

    Here's a way from John Walkenbach just using excel, although I think using
    word to do the merge would be better

    Hi Paul,
    The last reference is for creating an individual
    letter or envelope and specifically states that you would look
    in Word's help for information on Mail Merge. So if you are
    keeping track of mail merge tutorials you might want to revise wording
    in future.
