    last digits change to zero

    Hello,
I am trying to enter a long number (19 digits), enter the number, but when I leave the cell, the last 4 digits change to zero's. How can I overcome this.

When I go into format cell's and general, the number I have entered shows up as a scientific number (*.*****E+13), is this normaL or adnormal?

Please help, if you can, thanks.

It's normal, Excel works with fifteen significant figures so any digits
after the fifteen most significant ones will be zeros. Do you need all
    nineteen digits to be displayed?

    Hi

That is the way it is! If you want more digits to be displayed either format
the cell as text before you enter the data or precede your entry with an
    apostrophe ' eg '1234567891234567
