    Using F keys in Excel

My boss said he used to know a shortcut for getting to different columns by using one of the F keys, he can't remember which one, F2 or F5 or whatever, and has asked me to research this for him. I know almost nothing of Excel, so if there is anyone out there who can answer this, I'd really appreciate it!!

Maybe it was F5 (same as ctrl-g or edit|goto)

You can type in a range's address and hit enter to go to that range.
