    Pretty Buttons...

    Hi all,

So I've got a number of buttons on a spreadsheet with macros assigned to them. No problem there. I'm wondering if anyone knows if I can do anything to make them look a bit more interesting than the grey blocks that they currently are. Can't seem to find any kind of formatting options that deals with the appearance.

I know I can use the the Custom Buttons feature, but this is a corporate document and I'm not sure the CEO would approve of big smiley face buttons, a la early 90s rave T-shirts. I'm thinking more in terms of colour, perhaps a gradient - that type of thing.

    TIA,

    SamuelT

Just thinkng out loud here, and not sure if it's possible, but could you create something suitable in Paint and apply that?
I don't pretend to know what i'm doing and i'm not about to start

"Buttons with macros assigned to them" are usually those from the Forms
toolbar. You can't change them much. But you can assign those macros to
absolutely everything created by the Drawing toolbar; pictures, textboxes,
shapes, ... You can make it look like whatever, and the result depends only
    on your style and taste.

    HTH. Best wishes Harald

use shapes from the drawing toolbar that can be customized in many ways with
    a macro assigned to them.

    RE: Pretty Buttons...

I use imported images, .jpg's etc, and assign the macros to them.
I have one for each member of my family, my pets, etc etc..........
