    NUMBERING

IF YOU HAVE NUMBERED YOUR WORKSHEET CAN EXCEL AUTOMATICALLY UPDATE THE
NUMBERING, SAY IF YOU DELETE ONE OF YOUR ROWS. FOR INSTANCE, IF YOU HAVE
1,2,3,4,5 ETC. AND YOU END UP DELETING ROW 3, IS THERE A WAY TO SET THE
NUMBERS SO THEY WILL CHANGE TO 1,2,3,4 BY THEMSELVES?

For deletion, yes. Just use in the first cell to be numbered, eg in B2:
    =ROW(A1)
Then copy it down as far as required. If you subsequently delete any entire
row within the filled range, the numbering of the range below will
    self-correct unpon recalc.

PS: Pl don't use all caps in posting. It's hard to read, and could be
    perceived as impolite by many.
