    tables with unique addresses

    I would like to have a formula (or several formulas) that can fill 6 empty tables with the given letter combinations (see table 1 below).

    -(28 combinations per table)
    -7 rows, 4 columns

    2 conditions; ( I will use ab as an example)

    1. the combinations must have a unique address in all 6 tables
    That means;
    ab should not appear on row 1 in the other 5 tables...and
    ab must appear in every column throughout the 6 tables.

    2. every row exists of the letters a,b,c,d,e,f,g and h

    example table 1;

    kind regards,
    Michael

    Hi VBA Noob,

    thanks for your reply. This is something I already tried but failed. It is just a terrible thing to create.

    I do have an excel file with the tables. cannot upload it here but could send it over if you want to have a look at it.
