moving data from excel into a web page form

    Hi

Conceivably what I'd like to do is bring a web page into excel, copy and paste contents from excel into the appropriate form fields of the web site i want the data to flow into, and have some sort of command in excel to hit the 'enter' key on the web page to move the data out of excel and apply it.

some sort of customizable scripting would have to be developed to 'train' excel, vba (other?) to work with site A's unique design, site B's and so on.

a lot of the data i need to get off the net into excel is behind password protected pages, and i dont know how to access the password protected web page with excel. Then after the numbers are crunched, i need to input the new resulting numbers into form fields of password protected web pages (my accounts).

Excel is great, but it doesn't seem to easily integrate, so to speak, with the internet, but that might be because i don't know the code to produce a seamless exchange of data - in both directions - between excel and the internet

Any thoughts on this are, as always, greatly appreciated

    tx
