Lock cells from auto update

Hello,

i am calling values from another excel sheet with
=[MasterScope_Manufacturing.xls]Manufacturing!C15

is there any way to lock the values imported so they do not update anymore if the values in masterscope.xls change unless I want it to ? the value in masterscope might change but i do not want them to show up in my other sheet.

you should remove this formula and manually update value when you want.
