Hi,

I am working with hydrograph information (basically graphs that deal with bounce and drawdown times in stormwater basins) but this question can apply to anyone in any technical profession that works with data trends.

I am trying to produce a trend (generate a curve that represents many different project sites). Each project site has a bell shaped curve. The Critical Water Line (CWL) can be thought of as the Y axis on XY line graph (where Y=0)

However, even though the CWL can be thought of us as the Y axis, the CWL for each project site is at a different elevation. So the elevation for one project site might have the Y-Axis at an elevation of 730, but the elevation for another project sit emight have the Y-Axis at an elevation of 750.

So...my question is, how do I get all of these bell shaped curves onto the same playing field? Is there a way to generate the (x,y) coordinates for each bell shave curve, where (y) is the actual elevation at the project site, and then have excel convert those coordinates so that they can be read on the same graph?

I know this is a difficult scenario to envision without the graphs themselves. Hopefully I have been discriptive enough!

All for now.
