Linking cells w/ values only to a referenced cell

I have a sheet that has a header(A1) that is a reference from another sheet.
Below this header(A2-Axxx) is data, values only, that correspond with A1, but are not linked. They are hand keyed.

My problem, is that the headers need to be rearranged, but the way things are now, the data won't follow the header when the cells are cut, inserted,etc. Is there a way to 'Lock' the data range to the reference cell? TIA

so on sheet1, A1 = sheet(2)A50

It is sheet2 where the data need to be rearranged, which will then rearrange the references on sheet1.
However, the data on sheet 1 that corresponds with, but is not linked to, sheet1 A1 will get all messed up. That is my prob. thanks

A1=sheet2($A$50)

I think your problem will be solved by refrencing with a dollar sign.

When A1 is:
=sheetname!($A$50)
