    Comma Separated - Help Please

I am trying to open a comma separated value spreadsheet document and I can't get the information contained in the document to appear as a plain text file separated by commas

every item in the spreadsheet is in its own cell and i am trying to use that data to appear in a text file of some sort with each item separated by a comma

any help would be greatly appreciated!

    chris

In order to have an the text import wizard to show up, the file extension must be "txt" or some other non excel format.
You can then choose delimiter and take off any delimiter or choose fixed width and take off any line excel selects.

If i understand correctly, you should open your csv file in notepad/wordpad and not in Excel.
