Save code in VB

Hi All,

What is the code in VB to save an excel file.

i have tried Activeworksheet.Save and other vairations???

the above only saves and closes the excel file.
Help

Try: ThisWorkbook.Save

I have tried the advice and it saves but it closes down excel upon saving.?

Anything else you can think of?
