I am stumped. I am working on a Timesheet for a business and I have all the calculation solved for breaks and hours workd. But when it comes to the TIME OFF request portion of this sheet I can not figure out how to pull the text out of a table. The Table will have a text limited to eight words, say ABCDEFGH. I want the text to be pulled into down into another table that SUMIF on one if the said text and acknowledges the date too. I could just identify each cell with a term and let the sheet NA but I dont want that. The referenec will need to be limited to 2-3. Am I looking at doing IF/OR string?

REASON/TIME/DATE
ABCD..../#/mm/dd

Also does 2000 Excel let me blank out a NA refernce?
