can you please tell me how to hide an unused formula

ie i havn't entered any criteria so a formula is waiting for me to enter something to calculate. It just shows #N/A

Is there any way i can remove this, until i enter the criteria

=IF(ISERROR(your_formula)),"",(your_formula))

put formula you use in place of your_formula
