    onClick functionality?

    Hello,

I could use some help and if anyone has the time, it would be very much appreciated. I would like for the following to happen...should be simple, but I just can't figure out how to do it.

Upon clicking some text in a specific cell, I would like either the cell to change color, or the text itself to change color...similiar to an onClick function for links. The text in these cells is hyperlinked to documents and I am saving the Excel workbook as an HTML file. Ideally, when someone clicks a specific link (in the browser) for a file, the file will open...and after closing the document, the 'link' will have changed colors so that the user will know they have already accessed that file.

Is this type of functionality possible in Excel?

    Thanks beforehand,

    Clauddvon

    Thanks!

In VB code, you would need to explore the 'before_change' on a Double_Click, I believe this triggers on 'one click' and so might help you.
