    File dependable picture in Excelsheet

I want to add file-depending pictures to my Excel sheet. I think the best way to describe what I mean is by giving an example . I want to add a picture of 'the animal of the day' in an excel sheet. The name of the file is animal.jpg. But today it might be a dog, tomorrow a cat and the day after a horse. I don't want to change my excel sheet the only thing I want to do is save the new picture as 'animal.jpg' and the excel sheet shoud display the new picture. Is this possible? And if so, how can I make this happen?
    Thanks for any help!

Thank you for your quick response! However, I don't think it is exactly what I'm looking for. If I understand the example correctly, the pictures are stored in the excel sheet (eventhough I can't find them)?

I don't want to store the pictures in the excel sheet but in a directory and re-use the same filename for different pictures. So if yesterdays animal was a dog and today it's a horse, I want to be able to rename the file animal.jpg to dog.jpg and rename horse.jpg to animal.jpg and the excel sheet should from that point on display a horse because the picture in the excel sheet refers to animal.jpg .
