Running totals

Is it possible to programme excel to watch one cell for ten times and then give you the total or to copy the totals to other cells for ten totals and then give you a running total

Not quite, Simular Idea but the cell must show the aqumulated Total
the Idea is a person is training and is using x amount of energy for 1 hr and he does 10 different exercises and the total must show at the end but I dont want to show all the results

Select any cell, type any numbers in that cell, the cell to its left will always show the updated "cumulative total" ...
