I have a summary of all input errors in a spreadsheet summarised in a worksheet. How can I create a new worksheet which displays a summary total count of the errors.
i.e. the error is "no arrival time input" and this occurred on a Monday.
I want to count all instances of "no arrival time input" on a Monday and display the result as a count (such as the total "no arrival time input" errors on monday was 12) and so on, for different errors and different days.
I presume the answer involves counting instances some how, and formatting the results into a new worksheet in a table like structure? Please see attached.
The two columns A:B hold the error name and the day it occurred.
I know I can do this with an array? But, I would like to add this to a macro, so the sheet does not exist until I investigate the spreadsheet.
