    Question Timer in Excel

Has anyone dealt with adding a timer to the workbook_open whereas you set a timer and once the timer as expired (count down) a flashing message appears, Message box. where as they will have to reset the timer again. this is to used on a shared file, whereas when one person is one it, another can not use the file, thus serves as a reminder.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

    Hello,

there is an OnTime function, but I wouldn't use any 'flashing message boxes'

I thought the object of 'Shared' was that two or more people could use the book simultaneously?
