    high and low level part numbers

    hi,

    bryan i am back on our difficult project . file attached and hopefully it will explain what i am trying to do. hope you understand it

    I can see no logical method to determine which dates/qty should change and which should remain.

    Part number 66701 at rows 2:13 the original order,
    K18:K28 the base parts are made, (at this point the blue H18:H28 are doubled in K18:K28)
    K32:K43 the base parts become a unit (you now have a manufactured unit K32 PLUS a list of requests to make the individual parts H33:H43)

    rows 46,47,48, I see no method to do this, except when the maroon figures at K18:K28 are created / removed.

    from 108:131, there appears to be two items, but one being the partially completed other part, and the identical sub part numbers make it impossible to distinguish data from one to data from the other.

    .. so the best answer I can give is to adjust the blue parts when the maroon figures are adjusted, but as I recall this is contrary to the mainframe system's method of operation.
