tranferring/compacting data in new column

Hey all,

I have a column with the following format:
"A"
Data1
blank
blank
blank
blank
blank
blank
Data2
blank
blank
blank
blank
blank
blank
Data3
.
.
.

And I'd like to duplicate this info into a new column such that the format is:
"B"
Data1
Data2
Data3

My goal is to do this two to such columns so that I can do a simple scatter plot of the data and have the source data all neat and tidy. Thanks a bunch!


edit: I realized a stupid mistake which answered part of my question, and deleted that part of the post.
