    uppercase to lowercase

    Hi All, I have a large contact list. Last names are in column A, first names in column B, their address in column E. Everything is in capitol letters, I need to change them to proper names (SMITH - Smith). I have to delete the column with the capital letters because we need to print this document & don't want both columns.

    Any ideas??

    =lower(a1)
    where a1 = upper case letters column

    Actually, you want:

    =PROPER(A1)

    Copy the formula down, then copy, paste special > values.

    This macro worked best for us. The formulas worked but not
    like we needed them to.
